The FX Payments activity is a key area of growth for Global Markets (BNPP Financial Markets Front Office Business Area). In order to support and accelerate that growth an electronic platform (FX+) has been designed.

The Distribution Analyst for FX Payments Product develops a sustainable FX revenue stream for EMEA leveraging the origination from ?Transaction Banking Businesses? across the BNPP Group. Market the FX+ Payments services to the Corporates in EMEA (leveraging the Group TB origination) and Deliver EMEA P&L revenue objectives.

The Distribution Analyst for FX Payments Product operates with limited supervision from line management with a responsibility to report and escalate.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Market the FX+ Payments services to the Corporates in EMEA (leveraging the Group TB origination)
    • Directly attend sales presentation / pitches for top end Corporates opportunities
    • Indirectly leveraging Transaction Banking / Domestic Markets / International Retail Banking sales and coverage (main model)
  • Drive & Support the overall sales effort
    • Deliver targeted FX+ Solutions with Transaction Banking as clients trusted advisor
    • Contribute to Transaction Banking RFPs
    • Customise the offer to specific client requests when required (product features, pricing)
    • Structure and coordinate sales campaigns in particular towards MNCs in order to foster X-region origination and global mandates
    • Organize / join client and market events
    • Produce marketing collaterals (internal and external FX Payment pitch, RFP building blocks)
  • Develop FX DNA in TB / DM / IRB / Coverage (Training, KPIs)
  • Leverage Data Intelligence (private and public) to identify / push opportunity alert to sales and feed targeted marketing campaigns
  • Deliver P&L revenues objectives for CIB EMEA

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master?s degree in relevant area (Finance/Economics/Management)
  • Knowledge of transversal financial market activities, main products, actors & clients
  • Substantial experience in a similar role
  • Experience in defining and sponsoring projects and project management, in relation to Global Markets and Transaction Banking: business case and scoping study, management of the delivery along with Business Lines / IT / Operations
  • Ability to understand business needs and convert them into IT requirements
  • Ability to build factual and quantified diagnoses of the activity that provide a clear vision of profitability levers, and, by scientific tests allowing relevant comparison of business choices, propose business model optimization
  • Analytical Ability
  • Knowledge of the Fintech or Insurtech sectors, main uses, challenges, actors
  • Fluent in English both oral and written (mandatory), French is a plus
  • Expert MS office proficiency (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Data Visualization and Analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
  • Results driven and Client focus
  • Decision Maker, Attention to detail / rigor
