How will you make an impact?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division for a someone who has a strong background working with Mass Spectrometry ideally Isotope Mass Spectrometry (IOMS) or has knowledge of isotopes.
This Sales representative role would be ideal for someone who wants to take a sales role where you will soft sell IOMS products into the responsible territories to public bodies, Universities, industries and related businesses
Working and supporting our channel partners within our emerging markets namely Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa
Our applications and technologies service a huge range of scientific disciplines, so a big aspect of this role will be educating customers.
What will you do?

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales plan for bookings and revenues
  • Manages IOMS sales activities of the region and ensures timely and high quality sales reporting
  • Provide appropriate technical support and configurations to our channel partners to lead to successful closure of sales.
  • Prepare and presents technical assistance, consultation and problem solving to customers as necessary in the sales process.
  • Organize and participate in marketing activities, scientific meetings, such as seminars, workshop or demo as needed to generate sales leads and qualify them.
  • Identify key areas of growth potential and strategies to capture both short and long term growth.
  • Always ensure highest professional relationship with our channel partners to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary, to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.
  • Follow guidelines on Global Trade Compliance
  • Work closely together with IES Field service organization
  • Active use of SFDC to keep IOMS projects timely updated
  • Keep channel partners updated and trained on IOMS products


How will you get here?

  • University Degree (Masters or equivalent; Ph.D.) in Geosciences, Chemistry, Physics or related subject
  • Understanding of several techniques, i.e. chromatography, in combination with Isotope Mass Spectrometry or knowledge of isotopes
  • Understanding and working knowledge of mass spectrometry ideally Isotope Mass Spectrometry
  • Sales experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels in different countries (factories, sales operations, internal support functions)
  • Ability to lead/organize meetings in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
  • Excellent inter-personal, self-motivation, sales and negotiating skills is an advantage
  • Evidence of professional presentation skills, preferable associated with scientific publications


Travel Requirement:

  • Expected to be in range of 50% in the Emerging Markets territory (Eastern Europe, Middlle East & Africa)
  • Drivers license
