As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As Chief of Finance Transformation Offerings you will be responsible for digital finance transformation leadership and innovative deployment methods to IBM?s customers.

• Understands the customer transformation needs and maps it out - makes the customer journey transparent.

Key activities, as part of the role, may include:

• Marketing support and business development (e.g., content creation for webinars, conferences, blogs, articles, white papers, etc.). Collaboratively define and implement SAP market strategies and differentiated offerings (i.e. provide subject matter expertise and market insights).
• Sales support (e.g., account strategy development, RFP responses, closing deals, qualify leads, etc.)
• Delivery excellence (e.g., accelerators, methodology, skills development, coaching, etc.). Billable consulting on engagements as needed (e.g., IBM Rapid Discovery, road-mapping and strategy development, quality assurance, design authority, etc.)
• Develops insights into customers? business. This includes a solid foundation in competitive intelligence with an understanding of how digital finance transformation creates value.
• Maps the customer resources and relationships with an overview of which individuals and teams do what, and helps customers to orchestrate the necessary resources to digitalize the finance function.
• Assesses the availability and readiness of resources by identifying digital capability gaps upfront, and prioritizes investments to close the gaps.
• Develops a compelling narrative that conveys why a customer needs to digitalize finance and complement it with stakeholder education at all levels.
• Provides enabling technologies (e.g. S/4HANA Intelligent Enterprise platform), including data orchestration, that drive scale - a key enabler for driving change at scale based on agile finance platform, which is composed of a suite of modern finance applications that work in harmony across the enterprise.
• Incorporates agile ways of working to accelerate digital transformations.
• Promotes experimentation and learning and embeds it in execution and customer?s culture - understands how the business is running, what customers? challenges are, and how to bring all of this together.
• Ultimately, keeps eye on the goal of a successful digital transformation to create business outcomes on multiple fronts and to do this continuously.
• Make the business case for investments that promote cross-functional outcomes.
