Our client is a recognized Bank that is looking for a NPL/REO Portfolio Analyst (M/F) , in order to reinforce its Principal Finance Team (m/f).

• responsabilidades chave

  • Spanish and Portuguese NPL portfolios;
  • Researching and credit analyzing structured lending financings for acquisitions of NPL portfolios by financial sponsors;
  • Over time will have the chance to handle structured lending financings;
  • Ongoing monitoring of portfolio positions;
  • Work closely and support the Senior members of the team to evaluate, recommend,execute and handle NPL Financing opportunities;
  • Also support as required to originate deal opportunities;
  • Carry out financial analysis and due diligence as well as lead in deal execution, working closely with internal partners and external professionals;
  • Any ad hoc assignment.

• competências

  • University degree (MBA desired);
  • Minimum of 5 years in NPLs, either as an advisor, principal investor, lender or equivalent at an investment or commercial bank. Alternative M&A or Transaction Services backgrounds may also be considered;
  • Financial & Accounting skills required;
  • Legal knowledge of credit documentation;
  • English (Fluent), Portuguese, Spanish;
  • MS Applications, excellent Excel financial modelling skills;
  • Dedicated problem solver, strong technical and analytical skills with a self-starter/positive personality and can-do attitude;
  • Ability to explain and present factual information in a structured, clear, confident and concise way;
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally (ratings, credit, finance, legal, operations) and influence others in collaborative and positive manner;
  • Ability to work independently under pressure without compromising quality.
