The opportunity
At EY, as Tax & Finance Senior Consultant, you will help our clients to transform process and supported technology in order to streamline the tax and finance operative environment. At EY, you will work side-by-side with the firm?s clients and subject matter professionals to develop and incorporate solutions that create value and improve efficiencies.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and implement strategic and assertive tax and finance business solutions;
• Participate in requirements gathering and design of solutions/applications (functional and application logic);
• Assess, improve and reengineer tax and finance functions? processes;
• Identify opportunities for the use of technology to accelerate and enhance delivery of services;
• Drive overall deployment of process driven and technology services through active participation;
• Support clients in managing effective relationships with tax authorities;
• Collect and document engagement team and client feedback;
• Build and maintain long-term and trust relationships with our clients and provide high levels of client service;
• Stay abreast of current Tax & Finance regulatory framework and related technology relevant to the client's business;
• Contribute to the team?s good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best results.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Academic Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering and Information Management or similar fields of studies;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in tax, accounting or finance function;
• Practical experience in standard process analysis and mapping;
• Having participate in digital transformation project (e.g. SAP, MS-NAV or other ERP implementation);
• Technical knowledge of RPA and VBA will be valuable;
• Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English;
• Availability to work in Portugal and abroad.
