The opportunity
EY is currently seeking for a Senior Consultant with relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance matters to join our Enterprise Business Consulting team. The job description is the following one:

Development regulatory projects in different financial institutions (Banking and Capital Markets, Asset Management and Insurance);

Support financial institutions through the definition of the governance model, policies, processes and procedures;
-
Participate in the implementation of key regulatory requirements and guidelines;
-
Define, design and implement required projects with a high level of high efficiency and quality.
Key responsibilities
-
Participate in the implementation and development of technical projects in regulatory environment;
-
Support the implementation of specific requirements and guidelines in accordance to local, national and global requirements;
-
Support financial institutions through the definition of the governance model, policies, processes and procedures;
-
Perform business impact analysis (BIA);
-
Analyze in detail new financial intermediation regulation and insurance distribution regulation, namely MiFID II, MiFIR, PRIIPs Regulation, MAD II, MAR and IDD;
-
Develop independent reviews of the applicable prudential framework;
-
Support the implementation of the internal audit policies;
-
Elaboration and supervision of supervisory reportings, namely COREP and FINREP;
-
Give both regulatory and technology insights to help our clients mitigate risks to their business;

Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients;
-
Establish professional and trust relationships with customers, and develop and implement commercial strategies.

To qualify for the role, the candidate must have

Academic education in legal, financial or economic fields of study;
-
More than 2 years of professional experience in Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services sector;
-
Background in consulting environment;
-
Experience working on international projects and on multicultural teams;
-
Full English Proficiency.
