Diploma Licenciatura We are looking for a DBA \ SQL Developer to join the IT team of our client ? a multinational company in the Finance sector.
As part of a global team at the Center of Excellence, you will work on projects for different countries and with different roles, depending on the project allocated.
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

• Design, install, monitor, maintain and optimize the performance of production, test/development, and quality control database environments, ensuring high levels of data availability.
• Developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of all databases and accompanying software.
• Design and implement redundant systems, disaster recovery and data archiving policies and procedures to ensure effective data asset protection and integrity, they will remain current with the latest technology and industry/business trends.
• Develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports, and modify ERP user forms to increase organizational productivity.
• Design databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

What is required from you?

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other similar area.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in Database Administration.
• Solid experience with SQL server performance analysis, troubleshooting and tuning.
• Experience with all versions of SQL Server (up to and including 2019).
• Experience with Azure SQL database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Experience with Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL).
• Solid experience with advanced Transact-SQL and complex SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) projects and packages.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL Server high-availability and disaster recovery solutions such as clustering, database mirroring and replication (valued).
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases (valued).
• Critical thinker and problem-solving.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Other Relevant Information:

• Other valued technical skills: SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, NoSQL database systems (such as MongoDB and CouchDB), Python and/or Powershell.
• Will work with Cloud-oriented technologies using: Azure SQL database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis and so on.
• Will work with Integrated Architecture focused on migration from on-premises to cloud-based services.
• You will be part of an Agile SCRUM team. Participate in Agile ceremonies and act as part of a cross-functional Agile team to facilitate the success of Sprint goals.
