Job Description


We are looking for our new Category Manager. In this role, the Category Manager will report directly to the Business Development Manager Spain & Portugal and will be in charge of :

  • Definition of Category Management strategy (all Categories) and its development in all BIC Sales Channels? plans
  • Development of BIC range distribution, visibility, shelf layout optimization and in-store activation in all store format
  • Management of BIC Displays and related promotional activities.
  • Co-Development of Trade Promo Campaigns by channel and/or customers to achieve market shares and sales objectives, in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, from definition to execution
  • Budget management for Catman Activites

The role also includes:

  • Category Management direct role on Modern Mass Market channel
  • Development of Category projects with Modern Mass Market Top Customers
  • Customers relation in cross-department meetings
  • Clear understanding and success leverages elaboration from shopper behavior insights, market and customers? trends
  • Development of Category strategy on new potential channel (Discount and Drugstore)
  • Internal relation and networking with local and international departments: Marketing, Sales, Shopper & Category CoE, Procurement, Logistic, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Achievement of cross-channel Sales objectives and BIC KPI in Operations

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marketing or Sales
  • 5 to 7 years of experience within marketing/commercial departments in FMCG companies; at least 2 years should be within Category Management
  • Knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • High English level
  • Excellent communication and people skills
