Our client is multinational company with a strong reputation in the market that is currently seeking to recruit a Ventures Lead.

It is expected that the Ventures Lead can analyse, quantify and identify new business opportunities in the diverse ventures, aligned with the Group's objectives.
The Ventures Lead will coordinate internal/external stakeholders and processes to ensure that ventures have the needed support and that objectives are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The Ventures Lead responsibilities include developing the needed actions to achieve the assigned objectives, creating detailed project and business (MYB) plans, ensuring resource availability/allocation and delivering every project on time within budget. The Ventures Lead is asked to support the management of the ventures in identifying alternative solutions and mitigating actions when the business is not performing as initially projected.

Perfil ideal

• Background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis;
• He/she should be an excellent communicator with experience working with, and presenting to senior executives (it will be required the Ventures Lead to defend/present his projects in Management and Executive Committees);
• He/she should be comfortable managing multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders;
• He/she will also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude;
• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support;
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews;
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting;
• Screen/analyse the market to understand dynamics and to identify unmet customer needs within venture scope or potential;
• Connect within the Group with peers to adopt smart synergies;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Project and process management experience;
• Ability to work independently;
• Develop and monitor project roadmap;
• Budget development and tracking;
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
• Experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives;
• Strong organisational and analytical skills;
• Experience in technology companies, startups, etc., as well as IT background is valued;
