As the Product Manager for Connect API you will be responsible for shaping the future of Connect product by owning its roadmap, prioritization, stakeholder management, and being the de facto product expert for your area. You?ll will be working together, on a daily basis, with your in-house engineering team to drive the evolution and to deliver the success of your product.
Requirements:

• Engage with internal and external customers, and sales/support teams to gain insights and capture critical needs for the business today and in the future
• Utilize those insights to identify specific product requirements, create a product vision, and own the product development roadmap
• Consistently communicates with stakeholders and keeps them informed of the status of requirements development
• Coordinate between multiple teams (e.g. pre-sales, sales, operations, etc) to develop compelling business cases to substantiate business value and define product prioritization
• Own and drive the complete product lifecycle from idea conception through implementation and wide scale deployment to eventual deprecation
• Understands and balances commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities
• Is responsible for writing user stories with acceptance criteria, grooming and prioritizing backlogs, producing release plans and communications, running show and tells and tracking benefits realization
• Work closely with the engineering team to help delivering the best product possible
• Understands the dependencies between technology components and how they combine to deliver solutions to the end consumer and to the business
• Partner with adjacent PMs and their teams to ensure a seamless experience between Truphone?s product portfolio
• Attends all scrum/agile/relevant team ceremonies
• Performs change management through product backlogs as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Execute on a series of successful launches alongside cross-functional, cross-partners (Legal, Marketing, Technical Program Managers, Research, etc.)
• Provides mentoring and induction to other product managers
• Is expected to be a subject matter expert in their domain and have a solid understanding of company organization and performance
• Defines operational readiness processes for new releases and provides product training to stakeholders
• Ensures that all solutions meet company-wide, ?hygiene' requirements in terms of non-functional performance, security, compliance, social responsibility
• Where appropriate, co-ordinate with 3rd party content and technology providers to ensure timely and quality delivery/integration of external product features as specified.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in a technology discipline or equivalent professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to relate to both business, design, and technical specialists
• Knowledge on API design best practices and XaaS platform concepts
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to discuss solutions with engineering teams
• Strong relationship management skills
• Good business knowledge and ability to discuss solutions with customers and sales teams
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies
• Experience in defining requirements and translating them into epics/stories
• Ability to communicate clearly across different types of stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese & English)
