Your new role
The Director, HR Service Delivery role is part of a dynamic and integrated global HR function delivering operational HR and Payroll services. The role works in collaboration with HR Business Partners as well as specialist functions such as Talent Acquisition, Reward, Digital HR, Global Mobility, Finance, Learning and Leadership to ensure an exceptional customer experience and high-quality business outcomes.
The Director, HR Service Delivery will report directly to the Director of Kantar Business Services (KBS) and will be responsible for managing and developing a team to deliver high quality services for H2R to the Kantar business. The role will influence, shape and guide KBS service operations delivery through customer focus, transparency and by effective process design and optimization.
The Director will be responsible for all service delivery carried out by the H2R Tower (Hire to Retire) team including the provision of services in line with KBS Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to internal and external customers and monitoring and oversight of outsourced HR services provided by Kantar?s Business Process Outsource (BPO) partner organisation(s).
The job holder will be responsible for enabling the successful transition and stabilisation of activities into KBS working alongside Ada Programme teams throughout the duration of the Ada Programme and, embedding the activities into business as usual.
The HR Service Delivery team will work in partnership with in-market HR teams, Group Functions, Global Process Owners (GPOs) and other internal and external customers of KBS and will also work closely with internal teams including Kantar IT, Transformation and Global Process Owners. The Director, HR Service Delivery will be required to execute the following responsibilities:
Lead transformation and continuous improvement of the global HR processes including standardizing and/ or automating process steps; harmonizing data for consistent processing and reporting and identifying and implementing new tools to improve accuracy and efficiency to reduce process costs and maximize investment returns.
Collaborate to prepare the appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) which define scope, accountabilities, cost, and performance metrics. Ensure that all KPIs are being actively monitored to ensure SLAs are met for all human resource processes.
Provide strategic and operational direction while communicating the vision for the H2R processes on behalf of the process leads, ensuring a high level of standardization and outstanding customer experience (Employee, Manager and HR);
Represent the H2R team on the KBS leadership team, work closely with the H2R Global Process Owner, and collaborate with stakeholders within the wider Kantar Organisation to drive the H2R agenda.
Conduct campaigns to ensure end-to-end stakeholder buy-in and support implementation and post-implementation initiatives.
Ensure effective service delivery through effective workflow management, resource utilization and customer education and communication.
Coordinate the identification, prioritization, and implementation of new process capabilities and process improvement opportunities in partnership with Human Resources, IT and other groups as required.
Serve as a resource/escalation point of contact to HR, people leaders and others for interpreting policies and procedures, and regulations relating to scope of services.
Represent HR as a key stake holder in master data control across multiple HR systems.
Establish and maintain effective work relationships within both KBS and the HR Function, business divisions and the wider Kantar Group.
Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a global environment, interacting with, and influencing business partners at all appropriate levels.
Drive employee engagement leading people and talent development initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field.
Qualified HR practitioner gained within a large and diverse HR function in a complex global organisation.
Experienced in leading large operational teams (25+) preferably in a Shared Service HR Department.
Strong Service management and HCM systems experience.
Data driven, analytical and ability to identify trends from multiple data sources.
Ability to flip from strategy and concept to operational detail and adaption to different stakeholder needs.
Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and capable of adjusting communication approach to suit a situation.
Strong working knowledge of current employment legislation including clear evidence of practical application
Strong service ethos and skills supported by hands on customer service delivery experience in an office environment.
Meticulous, accurate, well organised and with ability to work to tight deadlines.
A good team worker with the ability to work effectively with staff at various levels of an organisation.
Ability to integrate with and function effectively as part of a busy, diverse and, established team.
Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes would be advantageous.
Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as annual performance review cycle.
Ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
Experience of Workday and/ or experience of HR case / work management systems will be advantageous.
