As we build and operate a new global ERP platform, we are looking to attract and hire highly qualified and engaged candidates to enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs. We are recruiting an in-house team to implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team?s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance.
Your new role
The primary role of the FI/CO analyst is to support the Application Specialist on the SAP S/4 deployments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality process and technical solutions together with proper documentation, validation and testing, data preparation and change request implementation.
As part of the SAP Support team, the FI/CO analyst will perform application support activities such as investigation and resolving incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Support all phases of the project lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of solutions as well as documentation and end-user training.
Support preparation of design workshops and follow up activities
Support the preparation of the Change Requests for Core functionalities and local requirement (Fit ? Gap Analyse)
System configuration of the Finance and Controlling processes
Test the functional solution throughout the program and document as per program methodology
Create functional design specifications (FDS) and support developers on the creation of the technical design specifications (TDS) (configuration documents and RICEFWs )
Provide support to global data cleansing, migration and business role definition when required
Support E2E Testing activities (scoping, testing documentation, data and other prerequisites) and resolution of testing defects
Support the technical cut-over, go-live and Hypercare when required for spot checks, soft configuration and resolution of defects
Support technically the day to day activities in SAP, support end users and respond to system/process problems.
Required Education/Qualifications/Skills:
University degree in Computer Science/other relevant field or equivalent experience in transferrable background.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the SAP Finance and Controlling modules
Good understanding of the integration between the FI, CO and logistics modules of SAP
Hands on experience in the key SAP S/4 functionalities such GL, AR, AP, AA, Banks, CO-CCA, CO-PCA
Experience in COPA, Project System or Product Costing is a plus
Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
Ability to work with non-technical end users in both a design and support role.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication.
Good English communication skills
