International Textile Company is currently searching for an Accountant/Finance Controller to support the growth of its international activities on their offices based in São João da Madeira.

About the Accountant/Finance Controller role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Administrator main functions will be to:

• Classify and post documents in bookkeeping and management software

• Checking accounts balance and analysing them

• Support monthly accounting closures with the external accounting team

• Monitoring the daily transactions and post daily invoices

• Following up on outstanding incomes

• Knowledge of bookkeeping processes, especially Portuguese legislation

• Preparation of cost control maps and analysis

• Preparation of documents for the external accounting team

For this position, we require preferentially a profile with 3 years+ experience in similar role within an accounting and finance team on Textile or similar industry and with a provable success track record.

Native in Portuguese and fluent in English, strong analytic skills and leadership and problem-solving mentality is mandatory.
