Hays Technology is helping a client in the Finance Industry, recruiting a Team Leader of Infrastructure. Infrastructure and Cloud Services Team is part of the overall IT in our client and is responsible for road-map, architecture, design and on-boarding of Cloud Infrastructure.
Your new role
Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available for multiple internal users and external customers;
Work with software architecture team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements;
Work with finance team to control the cloud budget and optimize costs;
Work with InfoSec teams to oversee cloud security;
Work with project management team to align resources required for projects and delivery dates;
Liaising with AWS TAM for ongoing issues and roadmap (qbr);
Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code (cloudformation);
Building the effectiveness, productivity and performance of the cloud resources on the team;
Identifying and working to remove obstacles to the team productivity;
Supporting team members with a focus on personal development;
What you will need to succeed
10 + years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, system administration or operations;
Experience as a team lead preferred;
Strong Experience with AWS implementations;
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments;
Knowledge of all components of an technical architecture;
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes;
Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies;
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work;
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management.
