Hays Technology is helping a client in the Finance Industry, recruiting a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer. This department is responsible to support new and existing products with state of the art cloud infrastructure and automation capabilities.
Your new role
Support and evolve the cloud infrastructure of existing applications;
Help the team to maintain knowledge and be ready to scale (by reviewing and documenting processes and our systems) ;
Coach junior engineers;
Debug and optimize our solutions;
Deliver automation of repeated manual work;
Monitor and track the capacity of systems to ensure performance in line with our NFRs
Actively drive discussions about design and architecture for our applications;
Find solutions for real world business problems;
What you will need to succeed
Pragmatic and with systematic problem-solving approach;
High level of experience/autonomy in AWS or Azure (we have use both providers;
Ability to define and implement the infra architecture for new products;
Infrastructure as code approach (Terraform);
Using all sorts of services regarding computing, containers execution, network, data management, monitoring and operations;
Good level of experience/autonomy implementing CI /CD pipelines and best practices (GitLab CI/CD, Sonarqube, etc.);
Familiar with GitOps practices;
We consider a strong plus experience with Kubernetes;
