As we continue our Pricing Excellence journey at H.B Fuller, we need to establish standard, flexible processes and develop world-class tools to support our Global Business Units. In particular, the FLIP Pricing system plays a central role in managing workflows, ensuring ongoing compliance and delivering value-based pricing strategies for each of our 28 Global Market Segments.

This position will be crucial in expanding the use of FLIP across the globe, delivering new features to enable greater adoption and drive profitable growth through pricing excellence across all 3 Global Business Units.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Pricing Excellence Leader, this person will also play a key role in training and supporting new users as we roll out the expanded use of FLIP in EA, CA and HHC.

This person will also work closely with the Director of Pricing Excellence, GBU Pricing Leaders, Project Manager and IT development teams to deliver new functionality and support FLIP users worldwide.

A key element of this role will be testing and evaluating new FLIP functionality by working at the interface between the IT Development team and key Pricing stakeholders. The Pricing Assistant will capture business needs, prioritize work requests and manage efficient communication between all parties.

PRIMARY DUTIES

FLIP Pricing Tool management

  • Analyze and manage the VSTS project manager software system
  • Ensure the correct prioritization across work request ?backlogs?
  • Co-ordinate functionality testing at the end of each development release.
  • Ensure IT group support. Reply to questions and ensure they have a clear understanding of what they need to do and guarantee that all the needs are provided in a timely manner. Co-ordinate functionality testing at the end of each completed development release.
  • Work closely with Finance teams in each business to ensure data validation and integrity .Ensure we develop standard functionality, wherever possible, which meets the needs of all 3 Business Units.
  • Support Pricing team and all existing global users and prioritize production support requests.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the HC, EA & CA Pricing teams to capture business requirements for each new phase of development.
  • Work closely with the Pricing Excellence Leader, to ensure that we maintain a global tool in line with Pricing Excellence standards.

FLIP Global Roll Out Support

  • Support all the global roll out with testing and data validation
  • Work with the IT group to mitigate any gaps
  • Work with the GBU Pricing Leader and Pricing Excellence Leader to ensure that the tool is capturing all business requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Intermediate-Advanced English
  • 3-year college degree
  • 2-4 years? experience in ERP implementation, Project Management, Customer Service, Finance or related role.

  • The candidate should be:
    • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and energetic style.
    • Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.
    • Accomplished at project delivery in the area with a proven track record.
    • Adept at grasping long-term direction while maintaining and executing short term deliverables.
    • Versed in general business acumen with a basic understanding of key business processes and data flows.

  • The candidate should have:
    • Strong communication skills.
    • A strong process mindset.
    • Solid skills with Microsoft data applications such as Excel, data warehouse systems and ERP systems such as SAP and Prism.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced or Native Portuguese
  • IT Project experience, particularly SAP implementation.
  • Experience with CRM and Business Intelligence Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Excel is mandatory)
