About the Job

Global Banking is a business line within the CIB division of BNP Paribas which contributes to the ambition to be the European bank of reference for our corporate clients regarding their financing, financial advisory and cash management needs.

Within Global Banking, Global banking Office (GBO) is a transversal team supporting all Global Banking teams in Portugal.

During your missions, you will interact with Managers and Team Leaders in charge of Global Banking local teams. You will also be in contact with other functions of the Bank as your experience within the Global Banking Office will enable you to put your knowledge into practice in the following areas: finance and accounting, project management, IT, company organization, optimization, human resources, communication, business continuity management, conduct.

Your Main Activities Are

• Support the leadership of the scope on their daily activities or projects.
• Perform research and actively support ongoing transversal projects and initiatives.
• Support to the deliverables and processes on Finance, HR, Operational Permanent Control, Business Continuity, Community Management, and other related to the management of a department within BNP Paribas.
• Develop and own data models, for example in Excel, SharePoint etc., with the purpose of consolidating data, analysing them and reporting them in a structured and articulated way to support and inform business decisions. Contribute to the development or maintenance of new data models in a large range of activities, such as budget monitoring, space management, monitoring of the recruitment, results of our internal barometers, etc.
• Support in preparing workshops or meetings with internal clients.
• Support in managing the internal communities, with the organization of events, management of internal sites, sharing of information via mailing list.
• Support in following-up and implementing continuous improvement or new projects that benefit and improve the management of the scope.
• Support to maintain the knowledge management and audit trail processes.
• Support in the yearly budget process and in following-up the budget.
• Support in the management of the portfolio of projects within its scope of teams.
