Admission Requirements:
Master degree in Physics or related areas. Enrolment in a doctoral programme in Physics. Expertise in quantum information with quantum continuous variables, quantum entanglement and quantum correlations, quantum microwaves, quantum optics, quantum sensing, quantum metrology, quantum Fisher information. Self-motivation for scientific research; ability for teamwork.
Work Objectives:
Investigate the potential of quantum radars and similar technologies; Contribute to the roadmap on future quantum-microwave technologies.
Applicable legislation:
A fellowship will be celebrated according to the regulations defined by FCT, ?Regulation of Instituto de Telecomunicações? fellowships? and ?Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação?, according to Law no. 123/2019, dated August 28 (Status of Scientific Research Fellow), in its actual redaction, and also by Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P. Place of work:
The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at Lisboa, under the supervision of Professor Yasser Omar.
Duration:
5 months, with the possibility of renewal. Start date: November 1st, 2021 or soon thereafter.
Monthly salary:
2500 ?.
The payment will be made by bank transfer.
