Your new role
As Back- end Developer, you will be be responsible for the development in Node JS using frameworks such as Express and Sails JS and the adoption of best practices. You will also do the unit and integration test development using tools such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai; evaluate and recommend new technology tools and services to facilitate future needs, particularly within the AWS suite of services; actively participate in regular stand-up meetings and contribute to Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change Management Process.
What you need to be successful
You need to have the following aspects: 5+ years of web-based application development; 2+ years of development experience with Node JS; 2+ years of test automation development in a Node JS environment; 2+ years of experience with a broad range of Amazon Web Services products; past experience building processes for system integrations and demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modelling practices; excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to software development; fluency in Portuguese and English required (written and verbal).
