Job Description

Team presentation and main goal:

Within the Finance Department, Financial Data Integrity division is in charge of the production and the justification of accounts for CIB activities of Natixis. Within this team, Closing control and certification produces, analyzes, makes any corrections and validates the accounting results and exposures as part of the monthly and quarterly closings, according to an organization by business line. You will be in contact with the Market Risk teams (in charge of the controls on economic P&L), the Operations department (middle and back offices), the Finance department and of course the Fixed Income and ALM business teams.

Perimeters:

Within this division, you will be part of the team in charge of monitoring Fixed Income and ALM activities. Your scope will be Natixis SA, London Market branch & SPV CIB, in a first step, and in a second step International branches CIB

Main tasks and goals:

Closing Controls LoD 1.1:

• Reconciliation between economic and accounting P&L. Identification and substantiation in detail of any gaps in methodology.
• Reconciliation between back office inventories and accounting exposures. Identification and substantiation of discrepancies in detail. Posting of accounting or inventories adjustments.
• Justification of the accounting standard differences (between French Gaap and IFRS Gaap)
• Control of internal P&L
• Justification of all the accounts of the perimeter under your responsibility

Restoration of accounting keys (interim mission):

• Adjustment of accounting keys with balances in cents

Qualifications

• Higher education in accounting, finance, audit with a first professional experience
• Bank Accounting, Audit, IFRS Standards
• Good knowledge of CIB Equity Market products and activities
• Good knowledge of database management
• Good behavior of leadership
• Bank Finance department experience
• Audit experience
• IFRS CIB Standards

Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
