Our Client is a prestigious Multinational Bank that is now looking for a Compliance Associate to join its Operational Risk and Compliance team, based in Lisbon.

  • responsabilidades chave

    • Ensure the department?s governance activities are completed. This includes the organisation and minutes of the following committees: Products Committee; AML Committee and RALCO;
    • Review new products and advice given to clients to ensure compliance with relevant regulations;
    • Ensure key regulatory changes impacting the bank activity are analysed, control and ensuring that the necessary changes are implemented;
    • Ensure all regulatory requests are tracked and addressed;
    • Assist in the completion of the regular regulatory reports; and updating, aligning and publishing policies;
    • Provide compliance advisory support to operational and business areas, as well to the Senior
    • Management;
    • Conduct tests in the annual Compliance Monitoring Programme;
    • Help to ensure regulatory requirements and compliance controls are fully understood, implemented and embedded across the Bank with focus on compliance activities;
    • Escalate and help mitigate material compliance issues and risks if identified;
    • Monitoring the business and assessing compliance with relevant rules and regulations such as cross border activities.
  • competências

    • University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Law ( ideally with a Legal background);
    • 3-5 years of experience in Compliance positions;
    • Knowledge of compliance procedures and legislation;
    • Fluency in English;
    • Highly proficient in MS Office tools;
    • Excellent organizational, communication, writing and interpersonal skills;
    • High sense of responsibility and ability to work with autonomy;
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
    • Problem solving and ability to improve internal procedures.
