The Financial/Business Analyst will ensure proper completion of Vodafone Portugal?s Monthly Reporting and Annual Budgeting and Forecasting processes internally and with the Group, monthly performance monitoring and to perform financial analyses and calculation of business KPI?s that support decision making.

Job Responsibility

• Organize the monthly performance review process including presentation of results to local management and Group along with Rolling Forecast;
• Review and analyse the main P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, Cash-Flow and its main drivers and provide insights on the overall business performance of the company and feed trends into Budget and Rolling Forecast;
• Support translating business strategies into plans, budgets and financial and operational targets (P&L, KPIs, CapEx, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Working Capital);
• Submission of Budget financial and non-financial information to the Vodafone Group, according to deadlines and established rules;
• Ensure alignment on statutory information, Group requirements and other stakeholder requirements; discuss and implement Finance MI requirements.

Requirements

• Management, Economics or Accounting degree;
• Minimal experience of 3 years;
• Inter-functional relationships and stakeholder management;
• Strong knowledge and experience on accounting and/or controlling environments (Hyperion, SAP, SAP BPC, Olap Cubes are a plus);
• Relevant experience with planning and reporting definitions, processes and systems;
• Very solid understanding of accounting standards;
• Solid skills on accountability and focus on timely and accurate delivery;
• Analytical skills, proactive and team player.
