Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Portugal Property, a leading Real Estate Agency in Portugal is looking for a Certified Accountant.
Job Duties
- Processes payments and documents such as invoices, employee reimbursements, salaries, and statements.
- Calculates rates paid for purchases and all price extensions.
- Reviews online transactions for changes and accuracy and corrects errors.
- Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees.
- Retrieves content and assembles data in order to prepare monthly reports for review.
- Files and/or removes records and reports.
- Endorses money orders, prepares deposit tickets, and deposits money as directed.
- Monitor and record petty cash payments.
- Pre-audits, verifies, and processes employee expense claims reviewing rules for employee compliance.
- Reviews new procedures, manuals, and system enhancements and suggests revisions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Registered in Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados - OCC (mandatory)
- Minimum experience of 3 years (preferably)
- Bilingual Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of laws pertinent to the role
- Organized and attentive to detail
