Reporting to the IT Finance Applications Manager, the IT Finance Functional Analyst will be responsible for the support, availability, quality assurance and tax and legal compliance of the Finance/Accounting applications and will have the mission to assure high quality services to the CFO, accounting and controlling departments, ensuring legal and tax requirements compliance.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide the necessary functional support of SAP FI/CO System across the business and ensure customer?s incidents are tracked and solved in a timely manner, assist in the auditing of IT software and support software roll outs (new implementations and releases);
  • Ensure the availability of new features to run the business, by keeping a straight communication with the Finance Departments, by establishing the scope, business/legal requirement and solution for a variety of new initiatives, by following, reviewing and analyzing the production of requirements documents for software changes and defining functional/technical solutions;
  • Test and implement new features and assure their quality with the Software Development team;
  • Prepare detailed training manuals on the content of new releases, new projects and new implementations and provide train to the users;
  • Configure the system according to business requirements through the liaison with the Finance Department and setting the functional changes in order to answer the business needs;
  • Develop new features, as non-standard features, to meet specific business requirements that are not cross companies and ensure the necessary alignment with the all IT teams;
  • Manage and deliver IT projects in the scope of the finance applications, cross company and cross geography and actively participate in transversal projects together with other IT teams, ensuring the necessary alignment.

ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Finance, Management or other related areas;
  • At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in SAP FI/CO projects (design, configuration, customizing, quality assurance and support), applications processes and scope;
  • End-to-end project management experience, namely dealing with quality issues, testing applications, interacting with end-users, specifying solutions for large scale developments, translating business requirements into technical solutions, as well as designing and delivering training courses;
  • Strong knowledge of integrated ERP system (SAP, SAP S4 Hana);
  • Previous experience in Retail business and in project management;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
