WHAT YOU WILL DO

Let?s do this. Let?s change the world. In this vital role you will handle Amgen's security event monitoring infrastructure.

  • Configure, conduct, understand and review logging capabilities and provide false positive validation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to create and maintain security alerting logic.
  • Manage the technical infrastructure and roll outs of associated tools.
  • Define, provide, and improve metrics on the assigned services including the use of appropriate applications and tools for reporting.
  • Advise incident responders as they develop and coordinate response, containment and remediation capabilities as appropriate.
  • Support cyber threat intelligence, security operations and other security teams in day by day activities.

  • Attention to detail and focus on providing vetted information.
  • Passionate, collaborative and results oriented.
  • Demonstrated experience working with any of the following: Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, Incident Response, Firewalls, SIEM, IPS/IDS, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows and/or Linux systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and tools such as Qualys and Nessus.
  • Python scripting is considered a plus.
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft MTA Security, ISACA CSX, GISF, SSCP.
