GBS, the engine that designs, builds and operates consistent adidas end-to-end business services & solutions globally to drive the transformation TO ONE ADIDAS enabling our Business Partners to focus on core business.

GBS prioritizes executing transitions, process and solution roadmaps. Implementing one service framework, performance measurements and GBS customer board. Furthermore GBS is driving the implementation of robotics process automation (RPA).

It is the overarching goal to move the adidas Group to a much more consistent, standardized and automated operating model with solid governance, architecture and operating model.

The P2R stream is designing and implementing end to end services & solutions as Global Process Owner (GPO). GPO?s can effectively cross-collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define the current and future state of adidas business and its processes, identifying issues and risks, suggesting mitigation strategies and driving towards technology solutions.

GBS Operations operate by executing Global Process Owner services and solutions.

P2R drives innovations to secure operational and timely processing in the GBS centers in line with global accounting standards and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, develop new and adjust existing end to end processes/ services, standards or operational plans, and deliver results with direct impact on P2R stream, other streams and markets.
• Significantly contribute to the GBS priorities, KPI?s, OKR and overall GBS roadmap
• Excecute transformation initiatives including GAP analysis related to the GBS operation centers/markets and provide process competency with a specific focus on P2R
• Own product portfolio with special focus on Planning, Reporting and Cost Controlling / Analytics processes and act as subject matter expert.
• Manage and execute new P2R systems/ technology/methodology/ demand/ roadmap and process change,upskill, train and execute
• Be accountable for the product success considering the value for the consumer and the company
• Specify the product vision and roadmap for planning solutions as well as user stories considering the value for the consumer and the company.
• Be accountable for product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates.
• Identify and solve improvement potential, problems and feasibility of process change with stakeholders through variance analysis and effective usage of data, considering dependencies with other product owners to ensure efficient delivery.
• Support to the definition of policies, accounting standards and guidelines for process improvement
• Provide expertise for P2R area in line with latest taxonomy/ activity split
• Support standardized reporting, measurements, KPI and ad hoc analysis in line with SLA?s together with Delivery Excellence team securing quality, timeliness, compliance and productivity of services and processes
• Lead medium ? large sized projects with the respective profound process and technical knowledge within the boundaries of time, cost & quality, focusing on the customers? expectations, implement results and ensure sustainability of solution
• Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of processes and products
• Represent and partner with the business partners, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Experience and understanding of a Global Business Services end-to-end process
• Experience in process design and process mapping, ideally within Shared Services securing process quality and compliance
• Experience in meeting planning and facilitation of physical and virtual workshops in a global working environment
• Broad SAP FI/CO knowledge
• Ability to apply continuous process improvement concepts and tools
• Good communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
• Solutions-oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset
• Basic leadership skills are a plus
• High degree of customer orientation
• Knowledge around Financial Planning and Reporting processes
• Demonstrated interest in Data Science (e.g. certificates, projects) and familiarity with time series forecasting, a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Agile working methods a plus
• Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
• Basic understanding of IT
• Fluent in English both verbally and written

Requisite education and experience / minimum qualifications:

• Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good understanding of relational database concepts
• Familiarity with BI technologies and related concepts such as data warehouses and data cubes
• 5+ years of experience working in Controlling or FP&A
• 3+ years working as a Product Owner or product management related role, preferably in an Agile working setup, as plus
• Experience working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels
• Experience in creating strong internal business cases to support investment and internal resource requests
• Fluent in SQL, a plus
• SAP Analytics Cloud development experience, a plus
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques, a plus
