International technology group is hiring a Financial Analyst (M/F).
Your new Role
As Financial Analyst in the Group you are part of the Corporate Controlling team for strategic management holding. The role balances execution of regular Finance duties and shaping Group's Business Intelligence within an integrated Finance team.
Regular Finance duties:
You will act as custodian of the Group?s Finance calendar and execute key regular steps within that calendar.
You will contribute to presentations for the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board and other governance bodies based on financial data.
You will prepare monthly reporting for the strategic management holding.
Business Intelligence:
Joint reporting and analysis on the Order Pipeline across all Business Areas has been established in 2020 as initial use case on the BI Roadmap. You will be responsible for monthly analysis and publication as well as for evolving the use case together with Controlling colleagues.
You will provide monthly overviews on Digital business across the Group and mature the analysis as the digital business grows and matures. You will collaborate with colleagues from the Business Area Digital also located in Porto for this purpose.
The portfolio is geared to strategically benefit from technology and market trends and address inherent risk appropriately. You will support Group's risk management cycle with data and analysis and prepare presentations to Group's Risk Committee.
What you'll need to succeed
Master's degree with excellent grades in economics, or a similar course of studies with a focus on finance or controlling.
5+ years relevant professional experience in a controlling function
Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in working with databases and SQL is a big advantage, knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
Business fluent in English (verbal and written); German is a plus
Very good analytical and methodological skills, results-orientation, and individual initiative
Self-managed individual eager to contribute with own ideas
Enjoys to communicate and to interact with others in a diverse team across multiple locations
Willingness to travel for business
