International Textile Company is currently searching for its Logistics Coordinator to support the growth of its international activities on their offices based in São João da Madeira.

About the Logistics Coordinator role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator main functions will be to:

• Working with Wholesale and Finance teams to ensure that wholesale customers receive stock according to their shipping and payment terms within expected deadlines
• Managing customer product information for key accounts including EDI platform management
• Implementing decision making with regards to optimizing supply chain processes for outbound logistics.
• Managing daily communications with wholesale customers regarding deliveries, resolving logistics-related queries in an efficient cost-effective manner.
• Working with third party forwarders and providing documentation for customs clearance and correct tax & duty records
• Working with third party and the companies? own warehouses to ensure correct stock processing and control
• Preparing the packing lists and documentation for outbound stock movements.
• Keeping track of logistics spend, being in charge of the logistics cost centre
• Looking out for process and shipping rate improvement; building a network of reliable shipping suppliers

For this position, we require preferentially an Industrial Engineer with a 4 years+ experience in similar role within a Logistics, Operational, Process Management environment focused on Textile or similar industry and with a provable success track record. A previous experience in similar role is mandatory.

Native in Portuguese and fluent both in English and Spanish, strong analytic and strategic outlook of the industry as well as proven leadership and problem-solving skills are mandatory.
