Your Opportunity

GroupM is looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to improve lead-generation and sales conversion rates on clients' websites through end-to-end management of the conversion optimization process, with a focus on e-commerce.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of how to research, plan, implement, manage & report on successful projects. The applicant will demonstrate ability to implement Web Analytics, diagnose e-commerce funnels and recommend improvements through marketing automation, A/B testing and CRO techniques and tools

What you?ll do:

  • Create conversion optimization strategies using both qualitative (page evaluations, UX design principles, site reviews, feedback forms) and quantitative (traffic source analysis, web analytics tools, surveys) sources
  • Have full ownership and accountability for successful execution of key client projects
  • Conduct internal planning meetings and lead the development of A/B & multivariate testing road maps that will lift conversion rates
  • Analyze results and identify successes, failures, and trends, and effectively communicate these findings to clients
  • Participate in or lead weekly client progress meetings during which you will report results, make recommendations, and assist clients in understanding the chosen strategies and what available information was used to aid in strategic decisions
  • Create high-quality, comprehensive client deliverables such as project strategy decks, creative briefs, and weekly/monthly reports
  • Troubleshoot and spot existing issues with optimization test set-ups and present results internally or externally through the production of high quality documentation
  • Train clients on Conversion Optimization
  • Identify and suggest ways to improve efficiencies, e.g. help us ?work smarter?

  • Detect client?s needs and points of improvement.
  • Propose full services solutions, from diagnostic, use of tools, implementation, measurement, training of clients? teams and CRO roadmap.
  • Ensure the delivery of best-in-class solutions to market leading clients, meeting and exceeding brands? goals and presenting opportunities for growth and account development.
  • Manage key senior stakeholders on major clients and inside GroupM for CRO solutions.
  • Foster an environment of innovation and constant seek for sales improvement.
  • Evolve the structure, ways of working and processes of other GroupM teams
  • Stay on top industry changes to scope out new opportunities to ensure we stay market-leading and develop clear product plans to meet our clients? expectations.

Experience & Tech requirements

We are looking for a digital passionate person with 3-year experience (minimum), with:

  • Deep understanding of conversion/persuasion best practices and the ability to apply that knowledge to client projects
  • Copywriting skills, particularly the ability to write compelling value propositions
  • Strong know-how of Google Analytics implementation and funnels set-up.
  • Proven, hands on experience working with A/B testing tools, marketing automation and CRO tools.
  • Solid understanding of how e-commerce works.
  • Working knowledge of main e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience working with e-commerce brands (agency side) or as e-commerce manager (client side).
  • Knowledge of paid campaigns and how they work in tandem
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English languages
