In 2021, Nokia Portugal became the home of a new Center of Competences: the Global Business Services Center, which will provide business support services in areas such as Finance & Control, Supply Chain & Procurement and Master Data & Analytics.
General Purpose
The Procurement and Supplier Relationship Trainee will join the Indirect Sourcing Services department at Nokia, which is part of the Chief Financial Organization. You will join a team of Sourcing Specialists and Procurement Buyers and will be learning on-the-job from day one. You will be responsible for the procurement of products or services and will support Sourcing Specialist/Managers in management of indirect procurement categories for all the regions and business groups at Nokia. With that being said, you will have a major and essential role within Nokia and will have the opportunity to support internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibility Area
The Procurement and Supplier Relationship Specialist is responsible for procurement expertise in all defined areas. You will work with other organizations to ensure that the product or service meets pre determined quality, technology, supply and cost criteria. You will be responsible for contracting and negotiating the prices with local/regional suppliers which aren?t covered by Sourcing Specialist/Managers. In addition, you will develop and manage supplier relationships, while creating and maintaining instructions and documents processes in own responsibility area.
