Purpose of Position

The Senior Sales & Customer Insights Analyst is responsible for gathering, managing and consolidating information regarding sales performance and our customer base in liaison with all relevant departments, using advanced analytical skills to provide actionable and value-add insights. Another main function is to produce and interpret comprehensive analysis and reporting to inform NetJets Management with actionable insights and fact-based recommendations. This position is critical in driving clarity around sales trends and performance against objectives as well as customer trends across EMEA.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data consolidation, analysis, update and reporting on sales and customer analytics ensuring relevant data is accurately and timely made available to be used by Finance, Contracts, Operations, Owner Services and Sales;
  • Responsible for the constant improvement of processes and procedures for the gathering and consolidating of data, ensuring all systems of record are accurate and have up to date information for the cross linkage of data.
  • Analyse sales and customer data to anticipate future needs, understand trends and to support business planning as well as help with strategic considerations for operations and sales;
  • Detailed segmentation analysis of prospects and customers and update customer information to maintain accurate records, ensuring all systems of records reflect the same data;
  • Support Sales Management and regional functions across EMEA with comprehensive regular sales pipeline and performance analysis, strategic metrics reporting, and ad-hoc analysis;
  • Perform analyses of key metrics to support performance and proactively develop reliability models and forecasting methodologies to enhance outputs;
  • Create appropriate analytical/reporting tools and datasets, enabling the team to provide insightful and value-added data;
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to help the company manage through data with focus on sales performance and forecast, customer database and customer service, providing insights through analytics, support and recommendations on the company?s decision-making process;
  • Actively participate in the development of a data warehouse and subsequent reporting enhancements, including the creation of Tableau reporting templates, visualizations and analytical reports;
  • Create, develop and improve reporting, working collaboratively with NetJets US counterparts to ensure alignment of methodologies, resources and systems of record;
  • Perform quality checks at various stages of the data collection and analysis process to ensure accuracy, and to avoid errors or mistakes;
  • Manage the overall project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and signed off at the various stages of the project execution;
  • Create and develop curated datasets and provide analytics on our clients? profile, to assess any possible changes in behaviour, churn risk assessments as well as opportunities for incremental business;
  • Develop automated reporting on customer activity (e.g. flight pacing, unused hours etc).

Bachelor's in Mathematics or Statistics

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • University degree in Mathematics, Statistics or similar;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role or related work experience;
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of business acumen and commercial attitude;
  • Expectational analytical skills with demonstrated experience in creating data architectures and datasets, machine learning and algorithms, prescriptive and predictive modelling techniques, advanced statistical techniques (regression, statistical tests etc) and their various applications;
  • Strong technical expertise; demonstrated ability to evaluate, develop and implement reporting and technological improvements using Microsoft software (Excel, Access etc), business intelligence tools (Business Objects, Hyperion etc.) and programming languages and tools (R, Python, SAS, SQL etc.) skills;
  • Very good MS software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and proficient in visualization tools such as Tableau;
  • Must be able to organize and present technical information in a clear and concise manner and have the ability to effectively present information;
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM system is a requirement;
  • Personal profile: curious, analytical mindset, detail oriented, proactive.
