• 
  Engage in challenging, high-impact strategic projects and support our top executives in making relevant investment decisions using bespoke financial models and analytical tools

• 
  Play an active role in communicating Sonae MC?s financial performance and business activity to the financial community and other key stakeholders

• 
  Help to better understand Sonae MC?s positioning and emerging industry trends through research information about the Company, its peers and the sector

Role

- Assess investment opportunities, build business and financial models, and draft papers with summaries and conclusions

• 
  Help drive the corporate reporting process (including quarterly earnings announcements) and prepare high quality corporate communication content in close partnership with other teams

• 
  Facilitate coherent external and internal messaging of Sonae MC?s business activity, strategy, and results

• 
  Brief top executives on key industry developments and emerging trends and keep them informed about the buy/sell-side views on Sonae MC and the sector

Profile

- 5 - 7 years of experience, preferably in strategic consulting or corporate finance from a strategy consulting firm, Big 4, private equity firm, or leading investment bank

• 
  High quality degree in economics, management or engineering from a leading university (MBA is a plus)

• 
  Top notch communication skills, able to concisely and logically structure and communicate ideas and insights, whether verbally or in writing or through Executive-level, professional presentations and pitches (in fluent English)

• 
  Solid analytical and numeric mind-set, with good understanding of corporate finance and strong financial modelling skills

• 
  High integrity and ethics to appropriately manage and protect highly confidential corporate information

• 
  Ability to perform and deliver under pressure and tight timelines
