Job Description

We are looking for an IT developer to work on the Trade Finance perimeter to help in the maintenance and evolution of the applications supporting this line of business. The team works with a wide variety of technologies so the ideal candidate will have a technical profile with an agile mindset, being able to adapt to the different tasks that need to be performed.

This team is responsible for the technical maintenance of several applications, some of them built in-house, others built by external providers, namely FBCC and FBTI - 2 trade finance applications provided by a company specialized in banking software. The work will include a mix of production support, meaning the resolution of incidents in the production applications, and development of enhancements or participation in small projects.

Tasks may include:

• Customization of software using SDK
• Development and enhancement of maps in ITX (an EDI technology used to transform and distribute data/files to other applications)
• Development of reports in Crystal Reports
• Creation and enhancements of stored procedures
• Development and enhancement of Java applications.

Qualifications

Main technical skills required:

• Advanced SQL knowledge (PL/SQL)
• Java
• Angular - nice to have
• Crystal Reports - nice to have
• ITX - nice to have
• Jenkins - basic knowledge

Most importantly, we are looking for someone that:

• Is flexible and can adapt to the different technical tasks that may be required;
• Is keen to learn new technologies;
• Has a minimum of 3 years experience in an IT software development/support role.
• Is comfortable speaking, reading and writing in English (minimum B2)

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.
Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
