Assistant Professor in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences in the Department of Mathematics of ISEG ? Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon, Portugal.

The following are all the obligatory requirements for admission for the contest, based on merit alone:

a) To have a PhD in the field of knowledge and/or speciality in Statistics orActuarial Sciences, or a similar subject area;

b) To possess a scientific and teaching curriculum in the subject area for which the recruitment contest has been opened, which is compatible with the category in question, and to have a minimum of two papers published or accepted in academic journals, which, at the time of their publication were indexed in the Web of Science or Scopus databases, with at least one of them in the first or second quartiles in terms of the impact factor. These publications must be from the subject area for which the contest has been opened.

c) To be able to teach in English. For candidates who are not fluent in Portuguese, they should give their word of honour that they will learn this language, in order to fully participate in the activities developed by ISEG and the University of Lisbon.
