We are currently recruiting an accomplished HR Senior Manager to take an immediate assignment in our Portuguese commercial affiliate with base in Lisbon. In this role you will have full HR responsibility for the local commercial affiliate. Reporting directly to the Regional Head of HR Operations you will have the unique opportunity to further develop and enhance the HR operations and business partner functions for Portugal based employees, as well as serving as a member of the Country Leadership Team. This role offers an initial contract with review date in December 2022.
Responsibilities

  • Fast resolution of all local HR related topics / processes
  • Close cooperation with HR Operations Europe and with HR Centres Of Excellence
  • Accurate record-keeping and communication of data for pay-roll, contracts, HR IS system (ViTalent), welfare system
  • Effective, timely and service-oriented HR support to line managers and employees of Vifor Pharma Portugal (Commercial Affiliate)
  • Ensure that all HR-related topics are managed in full accordance with local legislation and Vifor Pharma?s Values and Code of Compliance
  • Represent the HR function and partner with the General Manager, Country Leadership team members and Line Managers of the commercial affiliate
  • Drive local recruitment processes together with Global Talent Acquisition and Hiring Manager
  • Manage HR administration, payroll (with the support of Head Finance) & Time Management
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain competitive compensation plans and policies
  • Provide decision support through HR metrics

Main Tasks
  • Local HR Business Partner
  • Active member of the Country Leadership Team
  • Advise and coach management on people-related topics
  • Lead people reviews and people development activities
  • Provide guidance and support to local managers for the administration/support of all annual corporate HR processes and HR cycle activities (e.g. performance management, promotion, salary increase, bonus, etc.)

  • Specialist in HR Administration & Time Management
  • Ensure effective management and execution of all HR administrative tasks (on-boarding, exit process, work certificates, work confirmation, time management, archiving, filing, personal data and files, insurances, ViTalent, welfare system, etc.)
  • Management of HR data linked with pay-roll providers
  • Maintain HR key figures and monthly data reporting
  • Responsible for local employee relations activities and documentation
  • Ensure correct handling of workplace policies, procedures and practices in compliance with local legislation and regulations (incl. GDPR)
  • Management of absenteeism including case management
  • HR office administration including invoice payment in collaboration with office manager
  • Collaboration in HR related projects as requested
  • Extraction of data from HR tools used for compensation & benefits data and for people assessments

  • Support the recruitment activities
  • Support the hiring manager in defining the need and the job description
  • Grade the position, propose compensation package, salary and contract conditions
  • Lead the offer process to the candidate
  • Put in place and manage the on-boarding process

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Human Resources or equivalent including pay-roll knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in PHARMA HR within a Portuguese environment (an additional experience in international HR is an asset)
  • Very good knowledge of Portuguese Labour Law and employment principles.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English; fluency in Spanish would be an additional advantage.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, international environment
  • Experience in leading through organizational transformation, acting as a change agent and expert to master any changes the company and workforce may experience
  • Excellent user of Office Programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced user of HR database and tools (SAP Success Factors)
