Descrição

The Hyperion BI Analyst role concentrates on driving user adoption of CXO Software by migrating existing, manually produced, reporting into the system. Additionally, processes to consolidate commentary and analysis will also migrate.
Experience

• FP&A background

• P&L and Balance sheet analysis in a global organisation

• Familiar with budgeting/forecasting/planning/reporting cycles & associated planning requirements

• Used to managing to (tight) deadlines

• Used to managing with multiple demands on data-sets/resources

• Business Partnering

• Provided FP&A analytical support to business functions, ideally in a manufacturing environment

• Reporting

• Automation/centralisation of reporting

• Managing (varying) requests to arrive at common 'standard' formats, across teams

• Systems

• Comfortable with managing large data-sets

• Hyperion Essbase or similar EPM OLAP technology (TM1, Anaplan, OneStream, Board, Tagetik, SAP BPC)

• Potential to develop 'super-user' level of expertise

• Projects - has worked in a leading role on complex, high-visibility, cross-functional projects

• Processes - mapping/developing processes & workflows (including governance requirements)

• Stakeholder management - managing remote/virtual teams and developing engagement with multiple (finance) stakeholders, including users at C-suite/Exec/Board level.

Perfil ideal

Skills/characteristics

• Credible FP&A professional, skilled in the typical P&L and Balance Sheet analysis associated with performance management reporting in a manufacturing environment
• Preferably holds a professionally recognised Accountancy qualification
• Technical competence with reporting systems with potential to develop 'super-user' level of expertise
• Communication - ability to explain & support, helping user base resolve issues, as well as being an advocate for their needs
• Influencing - able to 'sell' new systems to stakeholders (at varying levels of seniority) and encourage others to work towards mutually beneficial outcomes
• Able to understand data flows from source ERP to consolidation / planning systems. Able to apply this to developing reporting solutions
• Comfortable with ambiguity/dynamic nature of working in a complex project environment (shifting deadlines/priorities/etc)
• Able to balance need for understanding of detail, whilst maintaining visibility of 'big picture' & overall strategy/objectives
• Diplomacy - comfortable asking questions/challenging perceived wisdom, tactfully, to clarify requirements &/or deliver better outcomes
