Our client is an international company that has a tech center and the development team in Porto. They work in the digital marketing field.
Your new role
Owning and optimizing the IT architecture;
Defining the right architecture to facilitate scaling in server loads and in product complexity.
Partnering with Business, Product, Engineering, Data Science and R&D to shape the ideal technical setup for new requirements.
Overseeing the end-to-end performance of all systems.
Driving complex development projects with a holistic view on dependencies and priorities together with the C-Level management.
What you will need to succeed
You are proud of your strong understanding of computational complexity and have shown that from a theoretical point of view in a Ph.D. or a complex MSc program and from a practical point of view in your current or previous job.
You have a solid and proven experience in software architecture.
A talent for thinking and planning complex projects all the way through has been shown in previous positions.
You are a strong communicator, especially a good listener.
You can act as technical mediator between the departments (Business, Product, Engineering, Data Science and R&D).
Nice to have: You have collected some sort of teaching experience in the past.
A hands on mentality and a strong desire to learn and understand new topics describes you well.
You are fluent in English
