Job Summary

We're a small team, where every engineer has a say in the direction of our products, team, and culture. We're looking for the kind of engineer who notices every detail but doesn't lose sight of the big picture. You will be the FIRST QA SW Engineer working with the LeadsBridge product, and the 3rd overall QA SW Engineer at ActiveProspect. Your impact will be bold.

We are seeking a highly-skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. As a QA Automation Engineer at LeadsBridge (an ActiveProspect company), you must have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are a must, as well as skilled execution of test cases and a passion for quality.

Day in the life

In this role, you will ...

• Own the development and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple features across our LeadsBridge application (both for frontend and backend).
• Work closely with the Product Owner before and during the Sprint Review to ensure the highest standard once the feature will be released
• Develop and maintain testing strategies
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams and report on test progress and results.
• Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment designing, developing and implementing testing methods to support software applications used in projects.
• Design and create test strategies, test plans, and test cases from specific requirements
• Debug issues for effective root cause analysis.

Requirements

On day #1 we'll expect you to have...

• 3+ years in quality assurance or software testing
• Ability to think about the product from a "how can I break it?" mentality.
• Experience with Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with end-to-end testing, regression, API, and automated testing.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify software defects in a multi-system environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and associate risk in software defects.
• Ability to communicate accurate and timely status reports and testing results.
• Knowledge of various software testing methodologies and software development in an agile environment preferred
• Experience building tests for front-end frameworks
• Experience implementing test automation in CI pipelines
• Experience in performance and security testing
