About the Role

Our Revenue generating LOBs are growing and will be instrumental in supporting future growth and recovery across both B2B and B2C products. So, to make sure that we provide outstanding sales and account management support to our Customers, we need to ensure that we have specialists in all fields and subjects throughout the business. To support that vision, we are looking for a Business Development Coach to maximize agent effectiveness by figuring out and solving performance improvement needs.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain a strong understanding and knowledge of Uber sales and account management.
  • Collaborate with COE CommOps, Central CommOps, sales, marketing and other cross functional teams to share best-practices and make recommendations to optimize performance and ensure product adoption.
  • Design and deliver 1:1 and group coaching sessions.
  • Mentor and support AMs / BDRs in strengthening key sales and account leadership skills with the objective of delivering outstanding sales and account management support to our Customers and achieving performance targets.
  • Work with TLs in identifying key areas of opportunity by carrying out deep dives and evaluations of calls and emails.
  • Support on-boarding of new hires by liaising with the Learning & Development team to ensure accurate & relevant training materials along with supporting new hires throughout the nesting & ramp up period.
  • Provide input into country/market specific sales strategies / initiatives.
  • Collaborate directly with L3 & Ops partners and support CommOps central and regional teams in ad-hoc requests / projects.

  • Sales & AM Champion: understanding and knowledge of Uber sales and account management, keeping up to date with product updates, ongoing initiatives.
  • A Leader: Proactive, passionate and self driven, you are deeply committed to taking Uber Rev Gen to the next level driving a performance based sales culture, encouraging and developing personal accountability in others.
  • Excellent Teammate! You collaborate with sales, marketing and other cross functional teams to share best-practices and make recommendations to optimize RevGen performance and ensure product adoption. You are proactive in sharing information with others.
  • Exceptional communication: Effective communicator, verbal & written.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: (Empathy, active listening, advising, influencing) Great at understanding, relating, and building effective working relationships.
  • Stakeholder management: Understand and proactively keep up to date with partner needs and requirements.
  • Strong presentation skills: ability to present to wider audiences and levels of seniority.
  • Excellent time management / Prioritization Skills: with ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Data Management: Ability to track and supervise the progress of individuals against objectives or goals and identify key trends or opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Naturally Curious: Coach-ability, open to incorporating feedback, and dedication to improvement of your craft.
  • Positive: An infectiously positive attitude and drive to win; hustle with determination.

Qualifications

    • 6 months experience as a sales soft skills performance coach.
    • 2 years of sales / account management experience.
    • Experience in designing and implementing coaching programs.
    • Working directly with Team Leads, providing structured feedback on team or individual performance.
    • Mentor or teaching qualifications would be an advantage.
