DevOps Engineer - The Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Desygner, you will be working closely with Desygner?s directors and particularly the Chief Technology Officer & VP of Engineering to organise, manage and deliver technical solutions. You will play an active role in the setup, configuration and automation of our environments, systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Polishing and maintaining our CI pipelines, helping in all areas, from development to release
  • Helping the team by developing internal tools and automating scripts that monitor systems and improve our processes
  • Analysing and define best practices for security, performance and network infrastructure
  • Maintaining all our environments working and bulletproof

Required Skills:

The perfect candidate would be able to set and maintain a full CI pipeline. You will be:

  • Working during daily Australian AEST timezone
  • Capable of creating and maintaining scripts in Bash, Node.js or PHP
  • Advanced in Linux systems
  • Advanced in automating release and build processes
  • Familiar with Docker containers configuration
  • Familiar with Product Life-Cycle and CI/CD pipelines, process and tools

Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with databases, both SQL and NoSQL
  • Good understanding of Rest API integration
  • Knowledge about source control, particularly Git
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
  • Familiar measuring and improving scalability, service reliability and performance
