Dashlane is looking for a strong strategic technical leader to take on the role of VP of Engineering Operations to lead all the teams in support of the Dashlane delivery: QA and Automation, Release Management, Project Management. This is a distributed team of 30+ engineers (out of 120 in Dashlane Engineering), based in France, Portugal and US. In this role, you will report to our Chief Technology Officer and you will partner very closely with our VP of Engineering, in charge of all software engineers, our Lead Architect and our Head of Security, but also with all engineering leaders and stakeholders across the organization (People, Product, Marketing, Finance, etc.).
You will define, influence, and execute the best strategy and processes to ensure high levels of quality and attention to the needs of the customers, along with efficient and smooth release management operations. You will lead the project management team to support our development processes within agile teams. As a supporting division, your goal is to help maximize the output of our software engineers.
Your leadership is geared toward action and finding innovative solutions with your team to optimize our technical systems and the outcome for our customers and our business.
You will be accountable for running a high-performing team: from recruitment to onboarding and training, feedback management, developing skills and growing the teams, taking care of the engagement and motivation of all team members.

Location:
At Dashlane, depending on your role, you'll be able to opt to work from the office or remotely. Due to legal constraints, at the moment Dashlane can only hire remotely in one of the three countries we have offices (Portugal, France and the USA).
This position's location is flexible within Portugal, and you can also opt to work in our Lisbon office.
At Dashlane you will
Lead a team in support of engineering: quality assurance, automation, release management, project management
Be accountable for the quality of our product
Ensure that our delivery engine is optimized thanks to the right levels of automation, industrialization, and the appropriate processes
Foster adequate project management practices in an agile context
Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the Engineering team in alignment with Dashlane strategy
Represent Dashlane Engineering team internally, with regular interactions with executives and major internal stakeholders, and externally by being a public thought leader
Serve as the top engineering leader for Dashlane Portugal , including but not limited to serving as an informal dotted line to all other engineers in PT, leading community engineering meet-ups, and contributing to PT employer branding
Requirements:
15+ years of experience, including proven experience in technical leadership roles (usually +5 years)
Fluency in English
