A call for tenders is now open for the attribution of an Investigation Scholarship within the scope of the project ClinicalWoundSupport: Wound Analysis to Support Clinical Decision (POCI-01-0247-FEDER-048922) co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Competitiveness and Internationalization Operational Program (POCI), under the conditions set out below.

Job description:
Admission requirements: Applicants for the Research scholarship must, on the application date, be enrolled, or present proof of conditional enrollment in a PhD in the scientific area of Nursing. Candidates must have completed a degree with a minimum average of 15 values and a master's degree with a minimum average of 15 values in the scientific area of Nursing, Advanced Nursing or Nursing Sciences. The candidate must show interest in the scientific area and be able to develop teamwork, in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. It is essential that candidates have a good command of the English language and have research experience. Preferred factors will be considered, the experience in the area of Community Health and Public Health Nursing, Medical-Surgical or Mental Health and with projects related to tissue viability and wound treatment. Preferred factors will also be considered the experience in research projects and evidence from international scientific publications. Work Plan: The activity to be carried out by the fellow is part of a research project whose main objective is the investigation, development and validation of a management support solution and decision support / clinical action for monitoring and treatment of wounds. The Research Fellow will participate in all project tasks, from reviewing the literature to collecting and analyzing research data to collecting and analyzing research data and writing articles for peer-reviewed international newspapers. Duration of the scholarship: The scholarship scheduled to start on 01-08-2021 will have an initial duration of 12 months on an exclusive basis. This scholarship may be renewed for a maximum of 12 months, and may not exceed the project completion date, scheduled for June 30, 2023. Monthly maintenance allowance amount: The amount of the scholarship corresponds to 1 104.64? according to the stock chart of the scholarships awarded directly by FCT, I.P. in the Country (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores.phtml.pt ) and will be paid by bank transfer. Selection methods: The selection methods to be used will be as follows: i) curricular evaluation (40%); ii) previous experience (60%). The final decision, if necessary, may involve interviews with the best positioned candidates, and in this situation, the weighting will be curriculum evaluation (35%); ii) previous experience (50%) and selection interview (15%). Applications that do not meet the admission requirements, delivered on time and incomplete applications will be considered ineligible. Important notice for applicants with diplomas issued by foreign higher education institutions: ? Applicants with diplomas issued by foreign higher education institutions may apply and will be evaluated with the same criteria as candidates with diplomas issued by Portuguese institutions, provided that they present, in application, proof of the recognition of academic degrees and the conversion of the final classification to the Portuguese classification scale in accordance with the applicable legislation. ? Applicants with foreign diplomas who do not present proof of the conversion of the final classification to the Portuguese classification scale will be evaluated in the curriculum analysis with a minimum rating of 10 points, on a scale of 10 to 40 points. ? In any case, scholarship contracts with candidates with diplomas issued by foreign institutions will only be concluded by submitting the proof of recognition of academic degrees and conversion of the final classification, as indicated above. The jury meetings minutes will contain a summary of the meeting content. After completing the application of the selection criteria, the jury proceeds with the elaboration of the ordered list, with the ranking of the approved candidates. The ranking list of eligible candidates will be posted on the premises of the Portuguese Catholic University, in Porto, located at Rua de Diogo Botelho, 1327, 4169-005 Porto - Portugal, with each candidate being notified of his / her position on the list ranking of candidates via email. In this email, candidate will be identified according to the reference used in the posted ranking list. Ineligible applicants will be notified by email, with details of the missing eligibility elements. Complaint and appeal procedures: Candidates have a period of ten working days, after the disclosure referred to in the previous number, to give their opinion at a prior hearing. Deadline for acceptance of the scholarship: Within ten working days following notification of the grant award, the selected candidate must confirm in writing his/her availability to start the scholarship on the proposed date. Failing to do so or not having availability, the candidate placed in the next position will be called. Candidates who incorrectly formalize their application or who do not prove the requirements of this competition are excluded from admission to the competition.
