Job description - Talend Consultant & Data Lover

The Keyrus Group is providing major international companies as well as mid-market companies with innovative solutions as there are Customer Intimacy, Sales & Marketing Campaign Effectiveness, Behavioural Targeting, Social Analytics, Data Monetization, etc. The strategic challenges for our customers, in the context of digital business transformation, include the multiplication of the communication channels and the changes in customer behaviour associated with an explosion in the amount of information available. These put a burden on Strategy, Marketing & Sales departments.

Keyrus is addressing customer?s issues through unique solutions combining business and technology components, relying on BI and Big Data technologies.

As a Talend Consultant, you will need a combination of business focus, analytical and problem solving skills as well as programming experience to be able to analyse large data sets of information with the appropriate tools and techniques in order to deliver insightful and actionable information in an impactful way.

Your main mission will consist of working with our customers and understanding their business context. You?ll be challenged to propose innovative ways of addressing problems with alternative options and creative and workable solutions.

You will be exposed to different sectors and company functions. You will work most of the time homeoffice and at client sites in Portugal, occasional travelling abroad whenever needed

Project work responsibilities:

• Understand client needs and requirements and translate these into data management and data integration solutions and architectures in line with client?s business needs
• Proven experience with one or more leading data integration tools including Talend Cloud and Talend Studio
• Good knowledge of data warehousing and data lakes principles and modelling
• Fluent in English.

Experience in following is a plus:

• Good knowledge of modern data analytical architectures and solutions in the cloud
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodology. And practical experience of applying these principles for design and delivery of data management and analytical solutions
• Cloud data platforms like MS Azure, AWS analytical solution architectures, Snowflake knowledge
• Real time data integration, Kafka knowledge
• Advanced analytics, Data bricks knowledge
• Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish or French is a plus

• Vision: Clearly communicate the vision between the small backlog items and the larger business goal. Ability to understand the bigger picture and go deep in functional/technical details
• Curiosity: You should always be curious to ask the ?Why? questions from the business and ?how? from the development team
