Founded in 2016, Shopopop is a platform-based service aiming to connect private individuals who want to make side-money by delivering products (Shoppers) with Retailers that want to reach their customers in a fast and flexible way.
We mainly operate in the Grocery-supermarket industry, where we currently collaborate with more than 2000 retail stores serving over 300k customers, with more than 130k deliveries monthly. We aim as well to develop our service in another business areas such as florists, wineshops and others of the sort.

Shopopop has been in full development in Portugal for several months. Right now, we are looking for someone who is challenge-motivated and who loves to chat over the phone (and is good at it), does not resist a good follow up and, obviously, doesn?t rest until the deal is won!
In this position, you will be the primary responsible for growth within the ?Small Businesses? verticals. You will interact with clients from a variety of sectors and in a wide geographic area. Starting from the top of the funnel, you will work from a lead sheet and make an initial outreach via phone, email and social, and will then be responsible for managing your virtual funnel of leads from prospection to closure.
We are looking for a ?go-getter? willing to work in a fast-changing environment and able to handle "out-of-his-area" tasks before settling into a definitive role.
Your mission is to understand and define the sales arguments for different verticals and to expand the network of partners in the country: this role will test your sales skills and your strategic thinking!
After an initial period of training, he/she will be working both in the Lisbon office and home office, with the aim of growing the country's customer base and revenue. The profile will be referring and working closely with the Country Manager and Marketing team.
The Candidate will also have the chance to grow his/her professional skills, to learn how to use advanced sales solution software such as Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Professional and also to gain knowledge on lead generation strategies.
