We´re Hiring a Junior Accountant with a good level of English to join the Finance team for a multinational company with offices in Madeira.
Main responsibilities:
- Support monthly closures and ongoing accounting and tax related tasks;
- Submitting for review and approval transactional postings, to support closure of the financial books;
- Substantiating account/general ledger balance reconciliations;
- Accounts Payable & Receivable related and administration activities;
- Working within general ledger close / Period End close calendar timelines;
- Support quarterly and Year End closing process;
Ideal Profile:
- 1 + years of relevant Accounting experience in the finance department (either at a large accountancy firm or law firm and/or in-house);
- Experience in AtP & AtR (Accounts payable & Receivable) would be a strong plus;
- Excellent MS office skills;
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
