The Inter-company Accountant reports to Financial Controlling and Process Improvement Manager and will be responsible for European Inter-company Process from raising the invoice to the organization of the Payment (Netting).

PRIMARY DUTIES

The Principal duties of the Inter-company Accountant are:

  • Prepare the Charge Outs between European Entities and specific manual invoices to other regions;
  • Generate Inter-Company Debit Notes and posted into ERP-Module;
  • Process Inter-Company Accounts Payable Invoices (within Europe);
  • Prepare Inter-Company Invoice Accruals and send it to Chief Accountants to be posted;
  • Responsible for the Intercompany Reconciliations, maintaining the accounts in balance on a monthly basis;
  • Distribution of intercompany information , e.g. Scan/file journal entries and documentation, to all Chief Accounts ;
  • Prepare and post Netting within Europe and to the US;
  • Compliance with Corporate Transfer Price guidelines ;
  • Compliance with internal and external audit requests related to Intercompany and Netting;
  • Maintenance of VAT-Tables and legal requirements in conjunction with local Chief Accountant and A/P Clerk;
  • Other tasks as required.

PREFERENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting , Finance or related field;
  • Strong accounting technical background preferably in Intercompany and Accounts Payable experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in multinational companies or Share Service Center;
  • Excellent written and spoken English ;
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferably in advance Excel- eg. Pivot Tables/Macros) and ERP-Module;
  • Organized, Motivated, Professional and Excellent Analytical Skills;
  • Independent, Proactive with strong presentation and interpersonal skills ;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other employees
  • Ability to lead, solve problems and communicate at all levels ;
  • Availability to travel.

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong USGAAP Experience and Knowledge;
  • Transfer Pricing Experience;
  • Knowledge of SOX and internal controls related to Intercompany and AP functions;
  • AS400-Querys experience.
