Your new role
The DevOps Team at iCapital Network plays a critical role in keeping the production and development environments running smoothly and securely. As part of a small team, the DevOps Engineer will be wearing multiple hats in a highly visible role interacting with all aspects of the business.
Responsibilities:

• Handle periodic operational tasks such as onboarding external clients and new user setups.
• Improve operational efficiency by automating manual tasks.
• Automate the configuration management (Ansible/Salt) and provisioning (Terraform) environment.
• Enhance metrics-gathering and monitoring of the environment.
• Write & update self-service tools used internally by developers.

What you'll need to suceed

• 6+ years of DevOps, TechOps or SRE experience with at least 2 years of AWS experience
• Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) experience in a production environment strongly desired
• Strong Linux OS-level and command-line/scripting knowledge and configuration management principles
• Able to code in Python or Ruby
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to design and implement complex, but easily-managed infrastructure and automate it from the ground up
• A desire to share, teach and learn as part of a team (no "lone wolves")
• Fluency in Portuguese and English required?both written and verbal
