The RTR Financial Controlling Analyst is responsible for supporting the monthly analysis and controlling of EIMEA, North America and Latin America ensuring accuracy and high-level understanding of the P&L main drivers. Work closely with the RTR teams and bridge between RTR and the main stakeholders such as Corporate FP&A, Business FP&A, Finance Business Partners (both Commercial and Operations), other GFS Functions and HR. This person will also be responsible for Controlling EIMEA Freights together with Global Logistics Business Partner.

PRIMARY DUTIES


  • Financial Analyst
  • Responsible for EIMEA, North America and Latin America
  • Supports in the month end control activities, prepares monthly variance analysis vs the trends, signals and investigates key messages
  • Prepares monthly headcount tracking reports and analysis, supporting several areas across the business, ensuring complete, accurate and timely information needed to understanding current status at each time
  • Works closely with the several Finance areas to ensure appropriate accounting and implements corrective actions to enable P&L accuracy and transparency
  • Works with Corporate and Business FP&A, to support understanding main monthly PL impacts and implement process improvement actions
  • Serves as a pivot of communication between the GFS areas and Business Finance
  • Support RTR teams to ensure that all Financial Statements give a true and fair view of company?s business, ensuring processes accuracy, compliance and effectiveness
  • Support Senior Management and Auditors with relevant financial analysis and presentations as required
  • GFS Freights analyst expert
o Provide monthly report on freight and warehouse by service period and location
o Responsible for the monthly report/dashboard on cost trend and drivers by shipping warehouse
  • Serves as an expert in OneStream and management reporting, understands the hierarchies and intersections and how the usage of GL accounts and Cost Centers impacts the GBU results and the Segment reporting: provides training and guidance to all GFS areas.
  • Support implementation of SAP One as a Controlling SME
Other Controlling and Process Improvement
  • Support developing an effective RTR Controlling process for month end analysis and reporting
  • Recommend opportunities to continuously improve and optimize the RTR organization to drive productivity, faster more accurate close, robust financial control and deeper insights/analysis.
  • Leverage best practices and workforce optimization tools / practices to make existing processes more efficient. Actively lead others in problem-solving and root cause analysis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in finance or economics or equivalent finance or accounting post degree qualification
  • Minimum 2-3+ years? experience in medium and large blue chip multinationals
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Experience in designing, documenting and implementing best in class processes and systems in complex organizations
  • Strong capabilities in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP [JDE is also value add]
  • Expert in Management Information and Business Analysis
  • US GAAP experience and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Self-starter with desire for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills
  • International and cross cultural exposure
  • Experience in successful process and system improvement initiatives
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, other language skills also useful
