Job Summary:

We're looking for a Talent Specialist (Tech Recruiter) to join our fast-growing team at Cazoo. You'll be responsible for recruiting across product and tech. Lead the 360 recruitment lifecycle and hiring process for Lisbon-based tech and product roles, handling every aspect of the ATS, interview and selection process. This includes booking interviews, collecting feedback and communicating closely with candidates throughout the process delivering a world class candidate experience.

As well as shaping how we hire, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in a number of talent-focused projects and inputting on tech-related people projects and initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business so clear and efficient communication is key for success in this role.

You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on attitude and a data-driven mindset, always sharing fresh ideas for improving our processes and candidate experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Effectively advertise and review applications - qualify candidates using the appropriate screening and in-depth questioning techniques for each role.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers ensuring all aspects of the role's requirements have been explored effectively to define the desired candidate profile, key skills and experience required.
  • Coach Hiring Managers in recruiting techniques.
  • Work with our existing Talent team to take a proactive approach to headcount planning and utilising your time effectively.
  • Map/identify the most relevant candidates to approach for each open and future role.
  • Search and select job boards/CV databases to source and approach suitable candidates
  • Directly approach candidates, qualify and deliver candidate shortlists.
  • Ad-hoc projects as and when required, such as benchmarking, organising events and meetups.
  • Keep up with wider recruitment trends and changes in the Portugese talent market and tech space

About you:

  • A strong foundation of in-house tech talent acquisition experience within a rapidly scaling company.
  • Have made volume hires in the tech and product space and are motivated to provide the best quality candidate experience.
  • Target driven; you care about getting things done and when obstacles inevitably get in the way, you know how to navigate.
  • Super organised - able to project manage complex processes with multiple hiring managers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail & not afraid to question the status quo.
  • A great brand ambassador; you are genuinely passionate about business growth and how you can have an impact.
  • Able to identify the top talent, skilled at interviewing and screening candidates.
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal who is able to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to successfully work in a dynamic, fast moving startup environment.
  • Experience of working in a talent role in the Portugese market.
  • Native-level Portuguese and advanced/fluent English.
