FUNCTIONS

Based on Lisbon, the key purpose of the role is to provide the appropriate direction, analysis and financial insight for the Portuguese Sales Team, in order to achieve Channel?s goals. For this, the person that develops this function has to ensure the right control over Off Invoice Discounts, securing the right allocation of expenses into the P&L (Accounts and SKUs) and implementing effective controls to accomplish the results. Reporting to the Portugal & Marketing Finance Manager in Madrid.
Funtions: The main complexity for the function is be able to control all the commercial investment put in place for Customers, ensuring their appropriate accruals and providing insights to Finance Manager to identify risks or opportunities. It must be the focus of the function. Short term (1-2 months) competences to develop:

• Comprehensive support of the accounts at commercial team in signing annual agreements, referencing new products, promotional investment (Trade Promo Management), ...
• Ensure compliance with the Regulations and Policies of the Company (J-SOX, external audits).
• Lead and develop Commercial investment control, ensuring all the expenses are properly accrued and preparing the follow-up to share with Sales Managers and Finance Manager.
• Accountability for right allocation in P&L of all commercial investment mainly those related to Off-invoice and Marketing. Mid term (3-4 months) competences to develop:
• Provide monthly a Channel Report, analyzing deviations and proposing corrective measures to achieve the goals.
• Provide financial information for brands & customers dimensions. Long term (6-8 months) competences to develop:
• Prepare rolling forecast view, understanding different effects in each S&OP cycle.ç Requeriments:
• At least 3 years relevant experience in FMCG Company, mainly in Sales environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and SAP FI and CO-PA modules knowledge will be an advantage
• Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
• English is a plus.
• Good knowledge of financial and commercial processes.
• A plus have participated on RACI projects and Controlling processes. Competencies
